LABORATORY FLUME FOR EXAMINING THE MOBILITY OF SUBMARINE LANDSLIDES DUE TO EARTHQUAKES AND GAS HYDRATE DISSOCIATION

A laboratory flume for examining the mobility of submarine landslide caused by earthquakes and a gas hydrate dissociation, according to the present invention, includes: an inclined flume; a plurality of deposition layers which are accumulated and tamped on the flume; water which is filled upon the deposition layers and which forms a simulated water level inside the flume; and a plurality of injectors which vertically penetrates the flume base, to be installed on the flume, with the ability to move up and down, and which injects gas or water into the deposition layers. The deposition layers are artificially controlled of pressures and temperatures by the circulations or injections of water or gas, and are capable of causing slope collapses and water surface waves.
