The present invention relates to a nanocomposite membrane for forward osmosis and a method for preparing the same. The nanocomposite membrane for forward osmosis contains a cellulose acetate based polymer and carbon nanotubes with the improved surface by an acidic solution, thereby having excellent hydrophilicity and water permeability, compared to existing organic polymer membranes and showing salt ion elimination rate capable of being applied to a seawater desalination process.
