The present invention relates to a method for communicating data in an LED-ID system, which is capable of switching a service link to maintain the connection of the service link without disconnection when an LED-ID reader moves from the coverage of an LED-ID tag to the coverage of another LED-ID tag in the LED-ID system. The method for communicating data in an LED-ID system including a plurality of LED-ID tags and an LED-ID reader comprises: a first step to allow the LED-ID reader to broadcast a wakeup signal to the LED-ID tags; a second step to allow an LED-ID tag, which receives the wakeup signal, to transmit an object ID stored therein to the LED-ID reader; a third step to allow the LED-ID reader to broadcast, to the LED-ID tags, a data frame request to transmit object information corresponding to the object ID, based on the received object ID; and a fourth step to allow an LED-ID tag, which receives the broadcasted data frame request, to transmit, to the LED-ID reader, a data frame response relative to the object information.
