A method of monitoring asbestos according to an aspect of the present invention includes the steps of: (a) collecting scattering asbestos by using a collection unit passing through an upper portion of a case; (b) transferring the asbestos collected in the collection unit to a sample unit disposed in the case; (c) spraying a refractive reagent on the asbestos collected in the sample unit by using a reagent spray unit; (d) emitting light from a light source unit onto the asbestos; (e) detecting the light refracted by the refractive reagent that is sprayed on the asbestos in a data unit; (f) digitizing the light detected from a spectrometric sensor to convert the digitized light into a color coordinate; (g) matching and comparing the color coordinate with the colors of different kinds of the asbestos; and (h) displaying the asbestos measured in the data unit on a display unit.
