The present invention relates to a power conversion apparatus intended to convert a linear motion that is non-uniform and intermittent to a one-way rotary motion having a high level of utility and continuity, and includes: a tension transfer element that has mechanical flexibility but is not stretched to transfer tension; a rotary element that is able to wind a tension transfer element and rotates in the same manner as a drum when tension is applied in the wound tension transfer element; a shaft that is connected through a one-way shaft power transfer element that transfers the shaft power by means of the power transfer element like a pulley; and a gear configured to rotate together when the rotary element rotates with the one-way shaft power transfer element or a latch that transfers the shaft power in one direction, wherein the two shafts are connected to transfer the power from the power transfer element (such as the gear and pulley) in one shaft to the power transfer element in another shaft, the tension transfer element (such as a rope and a wire) in one shaft is connected to a linear power that moves non-uniform and intermittent motion in a non-uniform motion range, the tension transfer element (such as the rope and the wire) in another shaft is connected to an energy storage element such as a weight (potential energy), spring (elastic energy), and spiral spring (elastic energy), and a third shaft that is connected through these two shafts and the power transfer element that transfers the power in one direction to rotate in one direction. This apparatus provides one-way rotary motion that has high mechanical utility, uniformity and continuity, which is generated from natural forces that exist in nature and have non-uniform mobility in a range of motion. |
