<p>An artificial nail or tip arrangement (10) and method of making the same are provided. The arrangement (10) includes at least one body (20) having a concave lower surface with a shape corresponding to a natural nail. The arrangement also includes an adhesive layer (30) having a first surface (32) and an opposing second surface (34). The first surface (32) adheres to the concave lower surface (24) of the at least one body (20) and the second surface (34) is provided to adhere to the natural nail when applied thereto. The arrangement further includes a removable layer (40) that covers the second surface (34) of the adhesive layer (30), and which is removable to expose the second surface (34) of the adhesive layer (30) for application to the natural nail. The removable layer (40) is provided with a plurality of slits (401) so that a surface of the removable layer (40) remains smooth after adherence of the first surface of the adhesive layer (30) with the concave lower surface (24) of the at least one body (20).</p> |
