Disclosed is a method for quickly and conveniently searching and executing desired content through a minimum touch operation with respect to all stored contents in a smart device that stores various contents. The present invention provides the content execution method in smart devices, which comprises the steps of: (A) setting a smart device to a content execution mode; (B) displaying a jog dial region and a content region on a display module of the smart device, wherein the jog dial region consists of a button part and a wheel part surrounding the button part, and icons for a plurality of contents are arranged in the content region; and (C) executing any one of the contents by touching the button part, or scrolling the icons in one direction by touch-sliding the wheel part clockwise or counter-clockwise.
