<p>A skewer assembly (1) for a rack mount (24) having a cam (5) disposed against a cam follower (7) actuable from an open configuration to a closed configuration, the skewer assembly further having a lock assembly (17) integrated with the cam follower and a locking member (18) located within a radial contact surface perimeter of the cam. The skewer assembly further having a tightening.assembly (3) with a ratcheting nut (22) which is incapable of being loosened when the skewer assembly is placed in tension. Moreover, the skewer assembly covers the access holes (25, 26, 27) to the internal hardware of the rack mount (24) when inserted therein.</p> |
