The present invention relates to a container automatic transfer apparatus and an ice cream vending machine including the same. The present invention includes: a screw axis (120) which is arranged vertically; a lower fixing member (114) and an upper fixing member (116) which fixate the lower and upper parts of the screw axis (120) in a rotatable state; a driving motor (122) which drives the screw axis (120) to rotate; an ascending and descending member (130) which reciprocates in an up and down direction by the bidirectional rotation of the screw axis (120) by being screw-combined with the screw axis (120); a horizontal guide (160) which is installed in the ascending and descending member (130) and moves in the up and down direction with the ascending and descending member (130); a transfer block (170) which has a holder (182) in one side and is installed in the horizontal guide (160) in order to be able to reciprocate in a horizontal direction; and a path guide (200) which sets a discharge position which is a lower vertical part of a discharge hole (24) and a sales position at which the holder (182) and a container (2) are not mutually overlapped in a vertical direction regarding the discharge position by being positioned at a predetermined distance in the horizontal direction from the lower vertical part of the discharge position, has a first transfer path (S1) which is linearly extended to the lower vertical part at a predetermined distance from the discharge position and a second transfer path (S2) which is more extended by changing a direction from the lower end of the first transfer path (S1) to the sales position, and guides the transfer block (170) to move along the first transfer path (S1) and the second transfer path (S2).
