Disclosed is a light emitting device. The light emitting device includes: a first light emitting unit which includes a first light emitting diode and a first fluorescent material; a second light emitting unit which includes a second light emitting diode and a second fluorescent material; an ambient light sensor; and a control unit. Also, the ambient light sensor senses the spectrum distribution of ambient light. The control unit drives the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit by referring to the spectrum distribution of the ambient light sensed by the ambient light sensor. The first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit are driven by corresponding to the spectrum distribution of the ambient light by dividing the light emitting unit into two or more light emitting units and further adopting the ambient light sensor.
