<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a functional monitor for a computer, which can improve user convenience by displaying a keyboard on the monitor without a separate keyboard and, in particularly, has a telephone mounted thereon, and can display a telephone button input part. A monitor is connected to a PC, which supports the operation of an operating system on a touchscreen in a touch input type, to display a signal inputted from the PC on the touchscreen. The monitor includes: a keyboard input unit provided at a predetermined portion of the monitor, and displaying a keyboard on a monitor screen; a touch sensor provided at a predetermined portion of the monitor, detecting a touched portion, if the monitor screen is touched, when a keyboard is displayed on the monitor screen by an input of the keyboard input unit, the touch sensor being one among an infrared touch sensor, a capacitive touch sensor, and a resistive touch sensor; and a touch sensor module configured to check a position value of the touched portion by receiving a signal detected by the touch sensor, and transmitting the position value to the PC. The functional monitor for a computer can display a keyboard on the screen according to an input signal of the keyboard input unit, and can receive a position value transmitted from the touch sensor module and grasp whether the keyboard is touched, thereby enabling a user to input a corresponding key using the keyboard.</p> |
