The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a water-repellent packing material for sealing a viscous liquid container in order that the packing material is not smeared with a viscous liquid by providing water repellent properties to the packing material for sealing a viscous liquid container. The manufacturing method of the water-repellent packing material for sealing a viscous liquid container comprises the steps of: forming a thermal adhesive layer on resin or a metal base layer; and coating the thermal adhesive layer with a coating composition in which 0.5-5 weight% of a hydrophobic particle is dispersed in an organic solvent.
