The present invention relates to a shelf scanning device of a wireless local area communication base which is mounted on a receiving space of a single stage or a multi-stage. The shelf scanning device comprises; a detection unit which is a vertical or horizontal moving antenna arm placed on each layer and scans products put each shelf; a driving unit which moves the antenna arms in vertical and horizontal directions of the shelf; and a control unit which controls the driving unit for the movement of the antenna arms and collects information regarding the products from scanning information of a scanner. The present invention minimizes a shade area of the shelf and maximizes a scanning recognition rate by forming the shelf scanning device in which a scanning unit (or scanner) having an antenna scans products put on a shelf while moving in vertical and horizontal direction of the shelf. Also, the present invention reduces an error range generated in a scanning process and accurately two-dimensionally grasps the position of the products put on the shelf, thereby improving the reliability of the scanning device. |
