A radiation therapy device includes a gantry; a radiation module provided to the gantry; a beam spoiler which is provided on a path of a radiation beam irradiated from the radiation module to enhance a surface dose; and a control unit that connects the gantry to the beam spoiler and selectively controls an arrangement of the beam spoiler against the radiation module.
