摘要 FIELD: physics, acoustics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics and radar and can be used in automatic secondary processing systems of radar and hydroacoustic stations mounted on a mobile carrier. The invention provides a method of reducing the probability of false alarm by increasing effectiveness of classifying false targets caused by self-generated noise of a carrier. In the method, false targets are classified using an additional statistical criterion - coefficient of correlation between the heading of the carrier and the target angle. For false targets caused by self-generated noise of the carrier, the coefficient of correlation approaches zero as the sample size increases, and for real targets, the coefficient of correlation approaches the value of the dispersion of the heading of the carrier with negative sign (since changes in the heading angle of the real target and the heading of the carrier are oppositely directed).EFFECT: low probability of false alarm owing to use of additional information on motion parameters of the station carrier.1 dwg
