VESTIBULOPLASTY TECHNIQUE

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: after regional anesthesia and antiseptic oral preparation, a lip or a cheek is displaced to expose a mucogingival junction in the oral vestibule at the level of a surgical intervention. An insulated hairpin electrode of Vesalius LX80 molecular resonance generator creating currents within the range of 4 to 16 MHz is inserted into a submucous membrane of a moving mucosa of an alveolar process in parallel at 1-2 mm from the mucogingival junction. Once a "coagulation" mode is activated, the electrode is slowly removed. The manipulation is repeated 6-12 times depending on the location of the mucogingival junction and the thickness of the submucous membrane in the operation region.
