A method for extraction of coal seam involves processes of unloading and extraction the seam, performing simultaneously in time and space. Throughout the length of longwall face a bench-like form of wall face is formed so that sloping line of face is formed, and the slope of the face line in the roof of the seam is directed into the depth of the seam. The height of benches is equal to the height of relieve slot, and benches form a multi-layer relief throughout the height of seam. This total value of bench width doesn’t exceed the width of the pressure fracture zone of the coal seam. |
