METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ODONTOGENOUS MAXILLARY SINUSITIS WITH OROANTRAL FISTULA

A method for the surgical treatment of the odontogenous maxillary sinusitis with oroantral fistula comprises the access to the maxillary sinus, the removal of the pathological tissues, and the closure of the defect with mucous-periosteal flap. The method is distinguished in that the access to the maxillary sinus and its revision are provided directly via oroantral fistula ("bone window") originating after tooth extraction.
