The method for predicting the risk of osteoporosis in the patients with systemic lupus erythematosus comprises the clinical examination, X-ray imaging and the assay for blood serum homocysteine, osteocalcin and CICP. The levels of homocysteine, osteocalcin and CICP >20 µM, <13 ng/mL and <64 ng/mL, correspondingly, suggest the risk of osteoporosis. |
