METHOD FOR TREATING HERNIA OF ESOPHAGEAL HIATUS

A method for treating the hernia of the esophageal hiatus comprises the fixation of the cardiac division of the stomach with the ligatures to the anterior abdominal wall in the area of the abdominal white line. For such fixation, the synthetic prosthesis consisting of U-shaped and rectangular parts is used. The rectangular part is fixed along the white line and the median umbilical ligament. The arms of U-shaped part wrap the esophageal-gastric transition and are fixed to the latter at the site of His angle.
