A pharmaceutical composition possessing anti-ischemic and antihypertensive activities contains two components. The first component represents Nicorandil or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or the complex of Nicorandil and the pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The second component represents Indapamide or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The mass ratio between two components is from 10 mg to 100 mg for the first component and from 1 mg to 10 mg for the second component.
