[Also in Divisions G1 and G3] In a room air heating and cooling apparatus substantially as described in Specification 973,612, the change-over valve 21 and its thermal actuator 22 are as shown in Fig. 1 where the valve casing has end clamping portions 75, 80 holding it in thermal contact with a bend of a serpentine-coil heat exchanger whereby spring-loaded thermal element 54 and piston 55 through spring over-ride device 57 positions ball valve 49 to connect pipe 44 to either 43 or 45. Excess pressure in pipe 44 is relieved by a weighted ball valve. Specification 972,077 also is referred to.
