The invention relates to chemical industry, in particular to measuring tools for controlling weight, force, pressure, tension, strain, deformation and destruction of mechanical objects. A capacitance strain gage comprises two capacitance planar comb-like measuring probes. Additionally it comprises third planar grounded electrode not connected inductively to measuring probes and arranged between indentations of both measuring probes. The invention provides increase of accuracy and reliability of object strain measurement due to exclusion of effect of nonlinear creep and hysteresis and temperature dependence of strain gage resistance on measurement results, as well as effect of change of controlled object geometrical dimensions in direction orthogonal to controlled one, exclusion of need for calibration and adjustment of strain gages before measurements. |
