METHOD FOR CLINICAL ASSESSMENT OF STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL ACID RESISTANCE OF DENTAL ENAMEL

A method for the clinical assessment of the structural and functional acid resistance of the dental enamel comprises the measurement of the staining intensity of the microrelief of the enamel surface with staining solution following the graduated exposure to the acid. The staining intensity is measured with the software application. The image of the stained area is taken with then digital camera in macro mode and further processed.
