The present invention relates to an apparatus for supplying garlic capable of automatically supplying garlic with an irregular shape to various apparatuses and positions. The apparatus for supplying garlic comprises: a transport body (1) having an installation space therein and having a predetermined length in an upper diagonal direction; and a storage hopper (2) installed at one side of a lower part of the transport body (1) and having a storage space therein, wherein the storage space is connected to the transport body (1) through a lower input port. The transport body (1) has casters (101) formed on a lower surface thereof, and has a conveyor (13) installed therein in an upper diagonal direction of an inner installation space, wherein the conveyor (13) is driven by a driving motor. Here, a plurality of transport plates (12) are installed on the outer periphery of the conveyor (13). The storage space inside the storage hopper (2) consists of a downwardly inclined side plate (23) and a bottom plate, so that the storage space becomes narrower toward the lower input port. A vibration plate is mounted above the bottom plate, and a catching element of the top end of the vibration plate is caught on an insertion groove formed at the top end of the bottom plate so that one side of the vibration plate (3) freely moves. A vibrating unit which is chain-connected with a rotary shaft of the conveyor (13) to hit the vibration plate (3) is provided below the bottom plate. Accordingly, the present invention can smoothly introduce the garlic with an irregular shape from the storage hopper to the conveyor, thereby promptly supplying garlic to particular positions (places to machines) more efficiently. |
