Provided is a tension generation device which is easily used for various purposes. The tension generation device (1) includes a wire lope transferring tension; a rotation drum fixing and winding one end of the wire lope (3); and a spiral spring applying a rotatory force rotating the rotation drum to the winding side. The rotation drum and the spiral spring are accommodated in a rectangular body case (13), and a screw hole (10c or 10f) for attaching the body case to a desired position while being used is formed on the body case. |
