The present invention relates to a method for generating a fast digital hologram based on temporal filtering of depth information capable of grouping the temporal sequence of frames of a depth image and of calculating a hologram for a similar part by confirming the similarity between the frames in a group. The present invention comprises (a) a step for receiving the depth image comprising the temporal sequence of the frames; (b) a step for forming the group (a depth group) by grouping the frames of the depth image with two or more frames; (c) a step for confirming the similarity between the frames in the depth group and dividing a common coordinate and a different coordinate; (d) a step for calculating a hologram (a common hologram) by using a depth value of the coordinate for the common coordinate at a time and calculating the hologram for each frame by using the depth value of the coordinate for the different coordinate; and (e) a step for confirming a digital hologram for each frame in the depth group by adding the common hologram and the hologram for each frame. The method for generating the fast digital hologram is provided to remove hologram calculation (CGH) of coordinates having the same depth value with the different between adjacent depth information frames, thereby improving approximate 65% of calculation speed in comparison to a case of using general hologram (CGH) calculation.
