METHOD OF FORMING STIFFENING RIBS

A method of forming stiffening ribs consists in that cylindrical parts of a stiffening rib are formed by an appropriate cylindrical surface of a rigid punch, and the surface of rib end edge is formed by an elastic punch. At the ratio of length of the rib end edge and its depth exceeding two – forming is performed by an elastic punch connected with the cylindrical surface of the rigid punch, when this ratio is less than two – forming is made arbitrarily.
