The invention establishes a novel technological paradigm and relates to a light source that does not require electricity in order to operate, consisting of a vacuum-sealed, spherical glass bulb. The invention contains numerous small, thin gold pieces having basic geometrical shapes: circles, squares and triangles, each provided in equal amounts. The invention is portable, does not generate heat and has multiple uses and an unlimited useful life. A light source that does not require electricity can also be created in a glass bulb which can be cylindrical, spiral, ovoid, toroidal, with variable section, such as a luminaire, forming letters, symbols, decorative figures and any three-dimensional figure that is as small or large as required such as to safely withstand the high vacuum required and the operation thereof. A method for manufacturing a light source that does not require electricity, using a spherical glass bulb which has an opening that allows the insertion of small pieces of g old leaf, which are very thin and have basic geometrical shapes: circles, squares and triangles, each provided in equal amounts and in a number that is proportional to the required luminosity. The vacuum is created in the bulb and the bulb is hermetically and permanently sealed using any method. The method for manufacturing a light source that does not require electricity also includes the cases of: a glass bulb which can be cylindrical, spiral, ovoid, toroidal, with variable section, such as a luminaire, forming letters, symbols, decorative figures and any three-dimensional figure that is as small or large as required such as to safely withstand the high vacuum required and the operation thereof. |
