The method for assessing the efficacy of the antibacterial therapy of community-acquired pneumonia in the young children provides for immunochromatographic assay of procalcitonin in blood serum with BRAHMSPCT-Q test-system on the first and second days of the disease. The decreased procalcitonin level in dynamics suggests the efficacy of the antibacterial therapy. |
