A device for median filtering relates to electrical engineering, in particular to computer vision systems, digital image processing systems and can be used for image preprocessing. The device comprises input register, data input,registers,comparator units. Each i-th unitcomprisescomparing nodes, each comprising comparing node, and first inputs of all comparator circuits are connected to each other. Each comparing node comprises commutation switch. The device data input is connected to input of input register which output is connected to first inputs of all comparator circuits, second data input of commutation switch and to input of register of first comparator unit. In each i-th comparator unit the output of j-th registeris connected to second input of comparator circuit and third data input of the commutation switch and first input of the commutation switch ofnode. Input of j-th register ofcomparator unit is connected to output of the commutation switch of j-th comparing node of i-th comparator unit. Output of the commutation switch ofcomparing node ofcomparator unit is connected to median output. In each i-th comparator unit the first control input of the commutation switch of first comparing node is connected to logic-1 level. In each comparator circuit incomparing node the second input of comparator circuit and third data input of the commutation switch is connected to logic-0 level. In each comparator unit the comparator circuit output of j-th comparing node is connected to second control input of the commutation switch of that node and first control input of the commutation switch ofcomparing node. The technical result is in median filtering speeding by reducing device cycle time. |
