A method to reclaim tailing dumps includes draining of the water from the massive of a tailing dump, covering clay materials onto the surface of the tailing dump, covering the following fertile layer and sowing perennial crops. Excavation of a mineral deposit is carried out by an open method such that the fertile soil is taken off and they are dumped at a temporary store in the area of the tailing dump. The clay materials are taken off and shifted onto prepared, planned and drained surface of the tailing dump formed of wastes of enriching raw iron-ore material. In doing so a layer of clay materials of 0.1-0.15 m in thickness is formed. After that planning thereof is carried out and the fertile soil, for example as blackearth, which is coated onto the clay layer on the surface of the tailing dump, is transferred from the temporary store. The layer is formed of 0.1-0.12 m in thickness, and once the fertile layer is planned, sowing of perennial crops is carried out taking into account development of their root system covering the entire area of the surface of the tailing dump. |
