The stop has a ball bearing (4) with balls (44) comprising a rotating outer ring (41) and a non-rotating inner ring (42) between which a bearing chamber (43) for the balls is defined. A lock washer (7) is in axial force (F2) against the inner ring and equipped with teeth (73) in contact with an outer radial surface (564) of a sheet sleeve (5). The surface is equipped with a radial external protruding relief formed of chute (562) and beads created by localized plastic deformation of the sleeve. The teeth are in axial support against the relief parallel to a rotation axis (X4). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of a suspension or steering engaging-disengaging stop of a car.
