<p>A pneumatic object or inflatable article includes a gastight elastomer layer. The elastomer layer is formed of a material that includes at least one thermoplastic polyisobutylene block elastomer and a platy filler, such that relationships of: EX′/EZ′>1.2 and EY′/EZ′>1.2 apply, with Z being a direction normal to the elastomer layer, X and Y being directions orthogonal to Z, and EX′, EY′and EZ′being dynamic moduli in compression of the elastomer layer in the X, Y, and Z directions, respectively.</p> |
