FLEXIBLE POLYMER-BASED THERMOELECTRIC MATERIALS AND FABRICS INCORPORATING THE SAME

摘要

Thermoelectric materials and flexible polymer-based thermoelectric materials that may be applied to fabrics for use as personal cooling/heating clothes and portable power source. The thermoelectric material-based clothing may be used to charge batteries using the users' body heat when cooling is not desired. Also, the flexible nature of the thermoelectric material on clothing allows the cooling device to not hinder normal movement. Moreover, the novel clothing may be used to reduce the infrared signal (though the cooling of outmost surface of users') to reach a goal of being thermally stealth.
