A motor vehicle production line management system is provided with: an assembly step for attaching a component to a vehicle, which has a reader device which reads identification information of the component prior to attaching the component to the vehicle, and a performance transmission device which transmits the read component identification information; a vehicle inspection step which has a reader device which reads identification information of the component attached to the vehicle and has reader characteristics that are different from the reader device of the assembly step, and a performance collation device which transmits the read component identification information; a vehicle detection device which transmits the identification information of the vehicle in each of the assembly step and the inspection step; and a server, which has: a database which associates the identification information received from the assembly step with the identification information of the vehicle and stores the information; and a collation unit which collates, with the received identification information, the identification information that has been stored in the database in association with the identification information of the vehicle from the inspection step that corresponds to the identification information from the inspection step, and transmits matching/mismatching of the identification information, which is the collation result, to a performance collation device. |
