PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive DC power supply device having simple circuit configuration.SOLUTION: A DC power supply device includes: a rectifier RC1 which converts an AC voltage of an AC power supply into a DC voltage by performing full-wave rectification; a converter having a switching element Q1, a reactor L1 and a diode D1, turning the switching element on/off to convert a DC voltage of a rectifier into another DC voltage and supplying a load therewith; a current detection section Rs for detecting a current flowing through the switching element; a peak-hold section 163 for holding peak values of a current detected by the current detection section; an n/2 output section 164 for outputting the n/2(n≥1 integer) of the peak hold values held in the peak-hold section only during the regenerative current period of the reactor; an averaging section 165 for converting the output from the n/2 output section into a current, performing integration, and outputting it; and a control section 10 for turning the switching element on/off such that a current flowing through the reactor becomes a predetermined average value. |
