PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent that is superior in storage stability for low-temperature storage over a prolonged period, and also superior in application properties to a substrate.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal aligning agent contains (A) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyamic acid obtained by the reaction between tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and diamine, polyimide and polyamic acid ester, wherein the polymer is obtained by using specific diamine, and a specific solvent (B). |
