PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress explosive burning of a lithium-ion battery included in a power storage device in the case of fire of a building.SOLUTION: A power storage device 12 comprising a battery module 30 including a plurality of lithium-ion batteries converts AC power input from a commercial AC system to DC power in a switching power supply unit 26, and stores the DC power in the battery module 30 for use through a bidirectional DC/DC converter 28. When a fire linkage signal transmitted by a home fire alarm detecting fire is received by a radio communication unit 45, the power storage device 12 performs control of suppressing explosive burning in the case of spread of the fire by reducing a charging rate of a lithium-ion battery by discharging the DC power stored in the battery module 30 by connecting a discharge resistor 54 using a switch unit 52 in a rapid discharging unit 50 and/or supplying power to a load in the commercial AC system through the bidirectional DC/DC converter 28 and a DC/AC inverter 32. |
