PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a resin-coated can shell, the formability of which can be secured while strength reduction after being coated with resin is suppressed to minimum, and which achieves enhancement of surface quality of an aluminum can after a can shell is formed.SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet for a resin-coated can shell contains Cu of 0.10 to 0.35 mass%, Mg of 0.80 to 1.60 mass%, Mn of 0.80 to 1.30 mass%, Fe of 0.35 to 0.70 mass%, Si of 0.10 to 0.35 mass% and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and has a proof strength after being subjected to a heat treatment at 270°C for 20 seconds of 225 to 255 N/mmand an earing ratio of 5% or less. In the aluminum alloy sheet for a resin-coated can shell, an area where an oxygen concentration of the aluminum alloy sheet after being cold-rolled is 10.0 mass% or more is within 0.04 μm from a sheet surface in a sheet thickness direction. |
