PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic steering device where an inner column can stably be held on an inside diameter side of an outer column.SOLUTION: An outer column 13d and a movable bracket 22b are bulged and formed integrally by a hydroforming process or the like. Projections 23a and 23a constituting a support part 26 of the outer column 13d are abutted on an outer circumferential surface of an inner column 14c at only three spots in a circumferential direction thereof. First and second friction plates 31 and 32 are arranged alternately in interval portions between an inside surface of each of supporting plates 27 and 27 of a fixed side bracket 12b in a width direction and each of parts 25a and 25a to be held of the movable bracket 22b for each of these interval portions. |
