<p>This information display device includes a display unit which has a display surface, an input unit which receives user operations, and a control unit. If a user operation is a gesture operation associated with a pan modification function which controls the display information on the display surface in a control direction set according to the gesture direction, then the control unit displays a composite icon on the display surface. The composite icon is a composite of multiple icons each associated with a pan modification function but having different associated control directions. If the user operation is an execution instructing operation on any of the icons in the composite icon, then the control unit executes the pan modification function with the control direction associated with the icon on which the execution instructing operation was performed. By this means, a high level of convenience can be provided.</p> |
