PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector having a new structure that secures desired explosion-proof performance and improves maintainability.SOLUTION: This gas detector comprises: an explosion-proof container formed by connecting a drive unit housing and a power supply unit housing each of which is composed of a main body opening in a front direction and a lid body, while a cylindrical protrusion part formed on the drive unit housing is engaged with a through-hole formed on the power supply unit housing; a pump unit having a pump and a gas sensor that are disposed in the drive unit housing; a drive circuit substrate that is fixed in the power supply unit housing and has a drive circuit of the pump unit and the gas sensor; and a substrate assembly provided separately from the drive circuit substrate in a layered condition in the power supply unit housing. At least three units that are the gas sensor, the pump unit, and the substrate assembly are provided to be removable from a front direction of the drive unit housing. |
