PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new high damping composition which has suppressed viscidity and is excellent in productivity, has high damping performance and large elongation at break, sufficiently usable as a vibration control damper or the like of a building, and can form a high damping member showing excellent durability after large deformation is repeated by an earthquake or the like, and a vibration control damper which is provided with a high damping member made of the high damping composition.SOLUTION: A high damping composition uses an S-IB diblock copolymer and an S-IB-S triblock copolymer together as base polymers, and is compounded with dry silica as a filler. A vibration control damper combines a high damping member made of the high damping composition with a steel member. |
