PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition capable of providing an adhesive layer having low initial adhesive force and excellent in reworkability when attaching to an object to be attached such as a glass, excellent in long-term durability with increasing its adhesive force to the object to be attached such as the glass under a high temperature condition or a high-temperature and high-humidity environment condition, and to provide an adhesive polarizer containing the adhesive layer provided from the adhesive composition and a liquid crystal display device containing the adhesive polarizer.SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive composition containing a polyfunctional epoxy group-containing organic silicon compound represented by the formula (1), where R is selected from a group of a hydrogen atom, a glycidyl group and a group represented by the formula (2), where R' is an alkyl group, X is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, n is a number of 1 to 3 and m is a number of 1 to 10, at least one R is a group of the formula (2), at least 2 Rs are glycidyl groups and 1≤a≤100. Both initial reworkability and high adhesive force can be achieved by blending a silane coupling agent having 2 or more epoxy groups based on one of an alkoxysilyl group or a silanol group existing in a molecule and a polyether structure group as a linkage chain of an organic group. |
