PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system for performing an electric demand operation control on the basis of an area or a room with a different air conditioning condition, which is effective and meets air conditioning requirements.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system comprises: means for grouping a plurality of air conditioning interior units and sensors on the basis of an area or a room with a different air conditioning condition and for registering the settings of conditions in a demand operation on a group basis in a building having a plurality of air conditioners installed; electric consumption calculating means for calculating a total electric consumption of the whole air conditioning system and for calculating a group electric consumption, which is given by dividing proportionally the total electric consumption; and performing a demand control operation on a group basis in descending order of group electric consumption if the total electric consumption exceeds a predetermined upper limit of electric consumption. Accordingly, the air conditioning system achieves an energy conservation air conditioning, which is effective and meets air conditioning requirements. |
