A solid-state imaging element (1) includes light receiving elements for converting incident light (100) photoelectrically and first spectroscopic elements (11) disposed at the incident side of the incident light (100) with respect to the light receiving elements. The first spectroscopic elements include a first light transmission film material (51), and a second light transmission film material (52) that has a lower refractive index than the first light transmission film material (51) in a first wavelength area of the incident light (100) and that has a higher refractive index than the first light transmission film material (51) in a second wavelength area of the incident light (100), the second wavelength area being longer in wavelength than the first wavelength area. The volume occupation ratio of the first light transmission film material (51) in the first spectroscopic elements (11) increases from one end of the first spectroscopic elements (11) toward the other end opposite the one end in a direction parallel to the light receiving surface of the light receiving elements, and the volume occupation ratio of the second light transmission film material (52) in the first spectroscopic elements (11) increases from the other end of the first spectroscopic elements (11) toward the one end. |
