A retention clip, adapted for receiving through entry guide members on the clip and adapted for interconnecting first and second lengths of concrete reinforcing elements crossed at right angles, or alternatively parallel elements, and adjacent each other within reinforced concrete, comprising: a saddle portion, a plurality of retaining guide members extending away from the saddle portion and defining therein orthogonally-oriented concrete reinforcing element retaining socket areas adapted for receiving and retaining the concrete reinforcing elements, the clip further comprising a hook member adapted for hooking around one of the concrete reinforcing elements such that removal of the clip from the concrete reinforcing elements would require manual biasing of the retention clip to release the hook from the concrete reinforcing elements before removal of the clip. A plurality of clips is adapted for interconnection with an interconnection means extending from each clip. |
