Provided is a method for preparing hydroxyapatite powder for blast use, wherein the method comprises: forming a suspension by using a raw material including calcium phosphate and a solvent; and forming an aggregate by drying the suspension. Subsequently, a sintered body is formed by heat treating the aggregate at a first temperature, and then the sintered body is pulverized to form pre-hydroxyapatite powder. Thereafter, the pre-hydroxyapatite powder is heat treated at a second temperature, which is higher than the first temperature, to form hydroxyapatite powder having a Vickers hardness deviation of 30 or less.
