The present invention provides an automatic cleaning robot for a welding part. The automatic cleaning robot for mapping and brushing a groove formed on a vertical welding part of the outer plate surface of a hull to be cleaned before a welding process comprises: a frame installed close to a welding part to be movable; a wheel brush mounted on the frame to be rotated to clean; a driving part installed on the left side of the frame to rotate the wheel brush; a magnetic block mounted on the frame to selectively attach the frame to the outer plate surface of a hull; and a switch installed on the frame to selectively control the magnetic force generation of the magnetic block. Thus, the present invention can prevent damage to the health and safety of workers by replacing the manual work done by the workers. Also, the present invention can increase work efficiency as it is easy to attach and detach the robot because of its compact size and work preparation time can be reduced because of the reduced weight.
